The Schlitterbahn Resort is a 65-acre spread of waterslides, tubing rides, water playgrounds, and other splashy attractions. The resort is located in New Braunfels, a historic German town just north of San Antonio, and within walking distance of the annual festival, Wurstfest. The waterpark is closed during the winter months, but the resort remains open year-round
